2013 I was in Cambodia

Haven't thought that I made it happen again. I have to say that it's an unforgettable trip in my life.

Very relaxing and also enrich my soul with those great heritages, nature environments.

This trip makes me wanna work harder and looking forward play harder in my every trip in the future.

Life is beautiful and always worth discovering myself and purified it again and again.

Most people, especially foreigners, think of Cambodian history only in terms of Angkor and modern times, Cambodia has much more history than that. According the book "The Customs of Cambodia" it's a country with rich, interesting and continuous with extraordinarily long, vibrant and fascinating past.

Cambodian are so loveable and friendly, always smile to you, sometimes are bit shy while speaking to you.

Suprising, this is a very mild country, I can tell it by their religion and food actually.

Umm, isn't the friendly character similar as people in Taiwan. No wonder I don't feel like I traveled to another world, I feel like homey sometimes.

I don't feel like note too much details, coz I know everytime while look back the photos, there is much more than the words.

It was a phenomenal and no-regret trip I had. :)

Feeling like back UK days, I used to had a cup of coffee in the early morning, standing in front of the foggy windows, love in the quiet and peaceful moment, one day I caught a sight of a fox walking elegantly through our garden

A look back at this year, all I can say is "What a year!"
I've been through so many things and achived much.....
Something... is still missing though, I feel grateful already.
Working hard, playing.....bit hard....., trying to find the real part of inside me
Not trying to escape, not trying to hide, not trying to get my life complicated.
No need to please anyone, no need to be like a pathetic girl, no need to wait for anyone else.
Enjoy my life, enjoy good food, drinks...haa, laugh hard, feel hearty....
I saw a quato today goes: " Everything in life is temporary. So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if things are going bad, don't worry. It can't last forever either."
Oh, and Someone told me this word as his life motto " Carpe Diem"

文化部長龍應台昨日在香港大學以「我的香港，我的台灣」進行演講，呼籲現場觀眾尤其是電腦前的大陸網友，不要全然相信台灣電視新聞中的報導，那不是台灣的真相，她強調台灣對華人世界最大貢獻，在於實踐與開拓，台灣絕對是民主實踐的標本。




金馬獎 凸顯台灣民主



龍應台演講時可容納千人的陸佑堂坐無虛席，好友林青霞、嚴長壽現身席中，演講全程在香港有線電視台i-cable和港大網站上同步轉播，可見龍應台在當地的高知名度。龍應台說台灣的可愛在於它的不假裝偉大，不努力變成什麼樣子，是一種自在過日子的態度，不過這種文化的從容調性，一開電視就被推翻了，好像台灣社會充滿對立、不信任感，到了無法往前推動的狀況，但這並不是真實。



龍應台以甫落幕的金馬獎，凸顯台灣的民主。她說金馬獎是辦了49年的獎項，獎項唯一的評判標準就是藝術，雖然此屆台灣得獎很少，社會上出現一些反面的聲浪，但是也凸顯獎項是以大義滅親的標準，尊重民主化的過程來進行。



龍應台接著繼續舉例，過去幾個月，文化部面對立法院審查年度預算，「有一天電視新聞報導兩黨立委的吵架和對立，但真實狀況是當天審議的4億台幣預算都通過了!」因此她呼籲香港、大陸的學生，想理解台灣的時候，必須要以更敏銳的判斷力，看到事情的真相。



最大貢獻 如何站起來



龍應台強調，台灣對華人最大的貢獻，不是它做得多好，而是它開拓什麼，而且是在摔倒後如何站起來。她說，現在流行講「軟實力」，她相信香港和台灣可以在各方面進行更多的接觸和對話。她語重心長的說，年輕人一定要關心政治，不然你的未來就被決定了，但關心政治不等於鬧事。



昨日一個半小時的演講，現場反應熱烈，笑聲、鼓掌連連，在面對現場民眾詢問時，龍應台展現高度的幽默和智慧。當被問起，如果她是香港的文化部長，她會提出什麼政策，龍應台回答：「我是香港政府邀請來的，來這裡指指點點很不禮貌，我過去發表很多有關香港亂七八糟的意見，你們去買書啦!」



此外，也有人問龍應台，喜歡當作家、文化部長還是教授，龍應台引用她書中的話：「人生中一個決定牽動另一個決定，一個偶然注定另一個偶然，因此偶然從來不是偶然，一條路勢必走向下一條路，回不了頭。我發現，人生中所有的決定，其實都是過了河的『卒』。 」

A Cat

My mom is a funny woman, well,.. just sometimes...ha~ Anyway, she told this to my uncle about me tonight, "每次都跟朋友出去吃吃喝喝, 也抓不到什麼貓回來" in Taiwanese. 我當場快笑翻了...什麼貓!! 哈哈哈...whaz about the cats? She wants me to go hunting? gosh..., and I didn't know that the meaning of a cat can be a boyfriend.....XD  that's so funny!!

A relaxing weekend in Daxi

Haven't go back to Daxi for ages, always spending time in the offiece during my weekdend.

Officially, I'd rather to spend more time on my work or stay whole afternoon in the bookstore, ahh, or maybe get myself a good book and a nice cup of coffee on the weekend. Yes, most of time I'm alone. Don't feel like to chat or have fun with friends..., can't remember how long I have been like this......

Don't need to wait for someone to call, there is no one i have to call anymore...

I have a brilliant year in 2012 and also a great change in my 30. Well done me. I feel lucky enough in my life. :)

I was checking my cooking recipes journal and need to write down something new today.It's called "Lebanese Tabbouleh Salad" from my Lebanese friend, of course, ha. Anyway, I found out some sketches that I had back 07' year. It was quite interesting looing back to see what the hell happened with the old me....., the sketch book is filled with lots of emotions, happiness, sadness...and colourful life.......
